Meet Elisabeth Tassone
Accredited and Experienced Counsellor
My name is Elisabeth and I am a qualified accredited counsellor. I completed my Bachelor of Applied Social Science with the Jansen Newman Institute.

Helping, supporting, or just listening to individuals is something I have always enjoyed and dreamt of doing. Gaining the right qualifications was simply the next stepping stone toward turning that dream into a reality.

In 1997 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, an autoimmune disease which affects the nerves. Instead of challenging and undermining Multiple Sclerosis, I chose to work with it. This has enabled me to to finish my degree and work toward the next phase in my counselling career.

As a wise man once said
“When you are confronted with a wave, don’t struggle against it, learn to surf instead”!

WHY COUNSELLING
Learn about the benefits
Why do individuals choose to go to counselling? Life can be fast, chaotic, loud, stressful and irritating. Coming to counselling, for many, will be the one time in the day for you. That’s right, that one hour is dedicated to you. Counselling provides you with the time, the space the privacy to share whatever is troubling you. Carrying around thoughts, memories, experiences can be tiring and overwhelming.
Counselling allows the individual the opportunity to share and offload all that baggage. Remember a problem shared is a problem halved.
